9. Marlow to Henley

Only thanks to a new bridge is it possible to again follow the river all the way from Marlow to Henley. On this stretch the path passes through three counties and alongside three ancient monastic sites before reaching the straight rowing course leading to Henley Bridge.

Refreshments

Marlow: Burgers, corner of The Causeway and Station Road. Celebrated baker’s taken over by Swiss Burger family in 1942 and now producing 32 kinds of chocolate. Tearoom open daily except Sun serving tea and high tea until 6pm.
Marlow: Bonny’s, 59 High Street. Teas until 5pm daily.

Hurley: Ye Olde Bell. 10am-10pm. Food 12-3pm & 6-10pm.

Aston: The Flower Pot. 11am-3pm & 6-11pm (Sun 12-3pm & 7-10.30pm.) Food 12-2pm & 6.30-9pm except Sun evening.
